About Encounter Kansas City

At Encounter Kansas City we are passionate about the Church taking hold of its truest identity: power-filled sons and daughters of a Father who holds nothing back and heirs to the Kingdom of Heaven. We operate the Kansas City campus of the Encounter School of Ministry that seeks to teach, equip, and activate followers of Jesus to demonstrate the Goodness of God through the power of the Holy Spirit in their spheres of influence. We hold healing services open to anyone carrying pain. And we send mission teams as far as Belize and as close as a parking lot in Overland Park.

The Encounter School of Ministry is a two-year formation program for adults being sent out as Spirit-filled evangelizers, along with a Year 3 continuation for our graduates. We're also launching a new hybrid Encounter School of Ministry campus in Seneca this fall.

Encounter Kansas City, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the Kansas City region.
